This project received the Dezeen Award for “Tall Building of the year” and the LIT (Light in Theory) Award for "Interior Architectural Illumination”, both in 2018 and also the German Lighting Design Award for 'Best International Project' and the IALD Award of Merit in 2019.

The office floors have access to daylight through fully glazed external walls. The facades are built up by vertical aluminum lamellas designed to match each of the facades orientations and maximize the access to daylight throughout the year. They limit direct exposure to the sun, while preventing glare and overheating of the office areas, while granting optimal views and daylight gains. A family of luminaires was developed for this project in order to meet all design aspirations and requirements in a unified and minimal looking way, in harmony with the architecture. The luminaire positions align in every instance with a continuous metal ceiling grid, creating a sense of perfectly distributed illumination throughout the building. The modular luminaire system created by Arup, Chipperfield and Viabizzuno allows for easy replacement of all system components to create 12 different optical performances for the building.
